The two selected participants will volunteer in one or more of the following educational services to support through their active participation our professional educators to offer more opportunities of amusement and well - being to the persons we work for (youth, disabled, children, local groups): 1) Social and Community cultural activities whose activities and projects are directed to local groups, living in Madrid and as well in the surrounding municipalities, and to Asociación Building Bridges’s centers for adult, young people and children. Asociación Building Bridges collaborate with institutions and NGOs and participate in Bookcrossing Madrid, promoting reading activities; 2) daily online services for young people in youth information, councelling, guidance and opportunities in Spain and abroad;3) daily online services for the promotion of cultural resources and training opportunities. The main methodology of these activities is the active participation of the people involved (volunteers, youth, adult, elder people, disable people) and to which the project proposals is aimed. As all Europen mobility projects, "Taste Spain" aims at enlarging young people horizons, giving them the opportunity to live in a multicultural context and in a European dimension. It will stimulate active citizenship among young people and raise awarness in oppotunities offered by the European Union to its citizens. Moreover the development of several competences (language, organisational skills, team working, entrepreneurship attitude, etc.) will support the volunteer formation and his employability in the labour market. We expect to face the lack of information about European mobility and education programmes among young people and make them more aware about the opportunities that EU offers them. In this way we also foresee to develop a sense of European citizenship and identity in volunteers and local community as well.
