TERMINÉ
During the project, 4 Kaunas food industry and trade training center staff members, responsible for educational programs development and implementation will participate in week-long mobilities in Danish "Slagteriskolen", Latvian "Riga Technical School of Tourism and Creative Industries", French "CEFPPA Adrien Zeller" and Estonian "Tartu Kutsehariduskeskus" VET institutions.
At the time of mobilities selected participants will observe processes in educational organization, deepen competences of different departments in practical and theoretical vocational training. Participants will learn ECVET adaptation possibilities, problems, challenges and solutions.
Aims:
1. Quality improvement in VET;
2. Good practices / experiences interception (introducing ECVET elements);
3. To analyze the possible process of credit transfer system in Kaunas food industry and trade training center.
Needs / Problems:
- The need to ensure quality of training programs in VET;
- The need for ECVET because of constant student mobilities abroad in Kaunas MPPMC;
- Passive entrepreneurs incorporation in VET development;
- The need for business involvement in the ECVET process;
- The need to accelerate the growth of the popularity of vocational training;
- The need for international cooperation in vocational education and training institutions.
Project activities:
1. Participant selection;
2. Observation of the work process in hosting institution (theoretical training, practical training, work flow, analyzing methodical programs, work processes of career counselors, representatives of international relations);
3. After the mobility - results dissemination, during Center meetings, while creating the description of ECVET system installation.
Results / benefits:
- Improved project participants competences;
- Improved project participants in cross-cultural and English language knowledge;
- Strengthen cooperation with the host organization;
- Description of ECVET system installation;
- Edited educational programs;
- Popularization of mobilities in vocational education.
