Date du début: 17 juin 2014, Date de fin: 31 déc. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

This project involved partner organizations from Germany (municipal open youth work ), Poland (municipal youth work with a more school-based orientation). Hungary ( Association for the promotion of youth work and participation of young people ) and Romania ( Association for the promotion of youth work and the culture of the Hungarian minority in Romania). The aims of this project are to learn about the cultures of the participating countries or regions and thus a confrontation with the "foreign" , the similarities and differences and also achieving a different view about their own cultural background. Especially we want to look at the Eastern European countries, thus promoting an intercultural collaboration.. Europe should be an opportunity for an expanded horizon of opportunities for personal development. Similar to the European focus on " European Memories " we want to contribute to disadvantaged youth . The aims are: Improvement of the English levels or increasing the motivation to improve these skills and having fun by using it - stronger European consciousness and the associated reduction of fears and prejudices against people from other countries , positive effects on some rigid self-images through the " beyond their own cultural horizons look " - Getting to know the cultures of the countries or regions participating and, associated with this dealing with the "strangers" to get the common features and differences about a different view of their own cultural background. – Getting Personal experiences with the history of the home country and the partner countries to link to a better understanding of the relationships that led to the end of the Cold War and a united Europe . - Work at an own European identity , which makes the personal opportunities and limitations experienced. One focus is on the relationships between Germany and the countries included in the EU between 2004 and 2007. Here, the German -Polish relationship is determined by the historical connection to Silesia ( Pieszyce lies in the former Silesia and in Wilhelmshaven , there are many former Silesia and in our regional center Wilhelmshaven launched the ships that marched out to allow the occupation of Poland ) , the relationship to Hungary as the State that issued the first " crack " in the Iron Curtain that divided our country , allowed the relationship to Romania, whose " freedom of movement " on the German labor market ( especially in our region, where currently the situation of Romanian workers in shipyards , agriculture, slaughterhouses , etc. in the press is discussed regularly) creating unrest and the situation in the former Transylvania with its German inhabitants as well as the current situation of mainly living in Gyergyószárhegy Hungarian minority and its relations with Hungary, workshops , roundtables and addressed through the active experience . Essential to achieve these goals is it to be the active participation of the young participants . The participant group is made up of socially, economically and structurally disadvantaged young people aged between 13 and 20 years, who will work on the exploration of the historical events on a new youth culturally influenced view of "their" Europe. We want to strengthen the participation of young people in the existing town twinning. The local political activists and leaders from the administrations to be thrilled by the energy contained in the international work with young people and improve the conditions for the implementation idea for young people of Europe and appreciate . The theme of European memory to these bridges between young and old , as well as between nations. The partners will make their way into a professional discourse with those responsible for youth work in their respective regions and stand up for the ability of the European dimension of youth work . Here plays the informal / non -formal learning a major role . We want to make clear that intercultural learning is valuable and an important instrument of personality development , which may be held by the possibilities of informal / non -formal learning in an ideal way. This should be addressed by the referencing in regional professional groups ( in Germany the conference open youth work in the district of Friesland and Wittmund, and, preferably also in other fora ) . The documentation of the activities to be presented as a practical example for similar activities in different regions should be available.
