Take 5 - Welcome to Europe! / DiverCity - meine Stadt, dein Stadt, unsere Stadt
Date du début: 1 janv. 2016, Date de fin: 30 sept. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

To promote youth participation the national youth councils, youth organisations and young people of the 5 Northern German federal states of Bremen, Hamburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein are organising the 6th "Take 5" -youth conference, held in Geesthacht from 22-24th April 2016. The structured dialogue conference will create the conditions for young people to discuss and exchange their opinions at "eye level" with representatives from politics and local authorities. The main topic is "The future of our European coexistence in terms of global migration". They will share their recommendations and demands and with the support of the partners involved: agree on arrangements. The aim is the preparation, implementation and follow-up of an exciting and creative dialogue by young people and professionals of the participating organisations, with the support of the authorities. We want to develop the willingness of political decision makers for a structured dialogue: i.e. that they involve young people in their decision making process and consult with young people on a regular basis by using appropriate dialogue formats "at eye level". This structured dialogue project - as an open forum and participation tool - demands to inspire everyone involved to dare, to enable and to support more youth participation.Regarding our main theme "The future of our European coexistence in terms of global migration" we expect everybody who is involved to gather new information. In the project we will actively support the implementation of self organised initiatives in the regions.Participants of the conference are 60 (5 x 12) young people (aged from15 to 23 years) from the participating federal states with diverse backgrounds, life situations and experiences (including young refugees) and 15 (5 x 3) youth workers of the partner organisations involved, as well as representatives from authorities and political decision makers. To further prepare the youth conference a planning meeting with representatives from the partner organisations and at least 2 young people from each participating federal state (possibly with representatives of authorities and political decision makers) is scheduled (February 2016 in Hamburg). After some creative activities the young participants of the Take-5 Youth Conference in April 2016 are invited to work on various aspects of our main theme in workshops, they will prepare their own recommendations and demands in a short presentation, will discuss with representatives from authorities and political decision makers and arange agreements. They also have the opportunity to catch up suggestions and advice for their own initiatives from experienced professionals and activists. In September 2016, a follow-up meeting in Hamburg with representatives of the partner organisations, with at least 5 x 2 young people (possibly representatives from the authorities and political decision makers) will consider all evaluation comments made by all different groups of particpants so far, will assess the medium-term impact of the conference, will evaluate the state of agreements that have been made and will evaluate the outcome of results that have been forwarded. They will work out a response to all those involved.
