Energy is the most important factor bettering life quality, and providing economic and social improvement. Important and privileged issue on energy area is electric energy. Turkey’s need for electric energy is continuing to increase. The electric consumption of Turkey in 2011 has reached to 229 billions 344,4 millions (kwh) with increasing 9 % compared to 2010. Many powerplant investments across the counrty are made to meet this rapid increase in electric energy. 6 of these poweplants have been founded in our district, and work actively.A great number qualified workforce is needed for the process of foundation and operation of these powerplants in Turkey. In this context, the courses and contents of the Machine, and Electric Departments of our school have been revised according to the needs of the sector within the scope of our project to meet and educate qualified workforce needed in our country and region. Therefore, the name of our project has been determined as “Clean Energy from the nature”.There are certain rules to obey at every step of the activies to use hidroelectric energy, and all criteria about the experience, and education of the staff have to be applied without exception, these circumstances are indispensable to security and reliability.Our school which has many institutional disadvantages aims at training qualified workforce to the hidroelectric poweplants in our region with the educations of our project.The educations of our project consist of 2 phases. At the first phase 150 hours hidroelectric poweplant operation education will be given by turkish electricity transmission corporation (TEİAŞ) authorities and our field teachers. The next step will be 150 hours practical education in Germany and Latvia, which will make the education perfect. Vocational education program has been prepared by the commission whose members are field teachers of our school, engineers, technicians, and has been approved by our foreign partner authorities that it will be applied.Our project is multilingual, and multicultural. Language is not only an important feature of the culture, but it is also a way to reach cultural evidences. Our project consists of various cultural qualities (national, local, social), enriched, and integrated multilingual qualities.10 Machine, and 10 Electric Department students will be chosen to participate to the project from our school. 4 students from each department will be impoverished, and 1 student will be 40% physically or mentally handicapped. Thanks to the education they will receive, our students will be qualified staff. Many of our students couldn’t find opportunity to go outside from our region. They didn’t have any flight experience. After the pre-meetings with our students, even the idea of “Internship in Europe” has caused excitement.All activities of our project consist of 12 months process between 10.10.2016-09.10.2017. Hidroelectric Operation Basic Education which is the basis of our project has been prepared by turkish electricity transmission corporation (TEİAŞ) as modular education, and it consists of 150 hours theoretical education. Vocational, cultural, language, and orientational educations will be organized at preparation process. Our Europe educations will be certificated as Europass. The support that we will take from Hidroelectric Powerplants (HES) at preparation phase will continue at other phases, too. The students chosen for the project will go to Germany and Latvia on 02-29.04.2017 for practical education after they take 150 hours theoretical education. Communication and advertising application with target groups will be via announcements, e-mails, phone calls, and web sites.
