The project assumes the acquisition of the expertise and the exchange of experiences with the Cypriot and Czech partner by the selected group of trainers of Police Training Centre (PTC) in Legionowo, representing the Prevention Service Unit, Traffic Police Department, Police Intervention Unit, Methodology and Training Organization Unit (altogether 12 persons) in the area of juveniles and minors issues and in the area of road traffic control. The Police Training Centre since mid-nineties of the last century has been specializing in the education of police officers dealing with issues of the juvenile delinquency and social pathologies. In the program of a basic vocational training course there is implemented a modular training unit called: Counteraction for crime-related phenomena, which consists of two school units, devoted to the recognition of social pathology and prevention of pathological phenomena as well as detecting juveniles of punishable offence and demonstrating corruption signs. Moreover, the PTC has two programs of specialist courses entrusted for the accomplishment: - in the frames of tactical aspects of conducting proceedings in juveniles’ cases; - Course for police officers in the frames of counteraction for the corruption and juvenile delinquency and actions taken for the benefit of minors.The basic issues constituting the subject matter of the project are: proceedings in the juvenile’s case, procedural and administrative-statistical actions, chosen actions of the operational work, chosen provisions of the civil, family and guardianship law, chosen phenomena of the social pathology, intervention with the participation of minors, preventive actions.The Police Training Centre, since 1990, has been specializing in the education of police officers dealing with issues of road traffic - basic vocational training courses and specialist courses entrusted for the accomplishment:- Specialist course in the frame of road traffic (special part);- Specialist course in the frame of driving by motorcycle;- Specialist course in the frame of improving the driving technique by vehicle;- Specialist course in the frame of videorecorders;- Specialist course in the frame of digital tachographs. The basic issues constituting the subject matter of the project are: traffic regulations, tactics of police officer work, road transport control and vehicle technical condition control, work with test-measuring devices, improving the driving technique by motorcycle and by vehicle and road traffic managing. Obtaining information from representatives of similar centres in other states will influence the increase in the level of comprehensive preparation of police officers for the performance of service tasks.Police trainers responsible for running the courses in the above mentioned areas, construction and realization of training programs will be the participants of the enterprise. They will be the observers of classes conducted by Cypriot trainers, also in the form of so called involved observation (with the teaching materials prepared by the Polish side), that will enable to discuss current issues as well as comparison of legal norms being applicable in partner countries. Moreover Polish trainers will implement practical classes for Cyprot and Czech police officers and will conduct common patrol actions in the city.A cognition and observation of the training process constitute the main goal of the project in the host country, as well as exchange of experiences in other means, systems and methods of training in the widely understood area of juvenile delinquency and road traffic control.The expected result of the enterprise is the acquisition of new experiences and skills, the increase in quality of work of Polish, Cyprot and Czech police officers, and in consequence the improvement of the quality of conducted training courses. During the implementation of the project teaching materials in the form of book publication, training films, multimedia presentations and photographs, concerning the organization and functioning of the training system, will be prepared. The mobility will be organized in training centres with the similar profile as PTC, located in Cyprus and Czech Republic: Juvenile Delinquency Office of Criminal Investigation Department, Police Headquarters and the Police Academy (Cyprus) in the first quarter of 2017 and Police College and Secondary Police School MI Holesov (Czech Republic), in the second quarter of 2017.
