The project ‘Country school as an European school’ is supported under Key Action 1- mobility of school staff. The project is designed to support school development strategy. The priority aims of the strategy are: to improve learning performances and the level of students’ key competences and creative thinking, to set up international cooperation in the view of youth exchange (at present we are talking with Georgia, Malta and Germany about undertaking a joint project), to form classes with redoubled number of English language and mathematics ( such classes were formed in 2013 year, answering the needs of students and parents), to reinforce synergies between formal and non-formal education (at our school was established association, which develops non- formal education by carrying out different projects, developing social competences) and to increase digital learning. The objectives of the mobility project reflect the above school priorities and aims at improving teachers’ competences in the field of foreign languages and methodology by experiencing innovative and student-centered pedagogical approaches as well as innovative assessment methods and new ICT techniques in teaching , rising awareness and understanding of other cultures and countries among participants of the training events, refreshing teacher’s second language, considering pronunciation and changes in foreign languages, broadening understanding of education systems across UE countries in order to implement good practices and finally to build international network of contacts, which will help actively participate in European society. ( The contacts will also hopefully result in joint project with other European countries and foster in our students new interests, ideas and activities , as a part of non-formal education)
