Public School in Mroków is a public agency with over six hundred students. The school environment is created by children from families with different levels of education and teachers who thanks to their commitment and experience contribute to raising the level of education in this school. The school in Mroków is a multicultural institution - about 10% of the school population are children from Asian countries. School children achieve very good results in gymnasium exams and final exams in primary school. The teaching staff of the school, often participate in the methodological courses and workshops, which are organized mainly in the Mazowieckie province. Constant collaboration provides the improvement skills and qualification of the teachers, what has contributed to an overall improvement in teaching and learning in the schools . The main aims of the Erasmus Project + are: - enhancing teachers` English competences in general At the courses abroad will provide the teachers to communicate in English and use English in oral contexts, what is especially important at the school where there are a lot of other nationalities students It will be e huge effective implementation of the assumptions and objectives of the interdisciplinary education and certainly it will affect the educational outcomes - Raising the quality of school education through the using modern methods of teaching; Methodology courses abroad and cooperation with partner schools, will gain the knowledge of new techniques and methods of working with children and youth. Currently, the main problem of school is the low of students’ motivation to learn. In order to increase students` involvement will be used computer technology competence., multimedia and new technologies, and other interesting methods for children and young people. Methodological and linguistic knowledge will create an original curriculums and incorporate elements of the curriculum of language education. - Opening of the school to other cultures and prepare students for life in the European Union. Respect and tolerance will be promoted in the local and students environment. It is very important aspect in our society, because of the number of representatives of national minorities from the Far East. Better knowledge of the European culture will be able to engage the local environment in activities promoting respect and tolerance. - Enhancement of teaching in an interdisciplinary and integrated education. What is more, especially important is improvement of English teaching in interdisciplinary education. The teachers are going to learn how to use the students` knowledge of other school subjects on English classes. This method has been popular and brought good results, so it`s the reason why the head teacher and the teacher are going to implement it in the school in Mroków. - Educational cooperation between European schools Taking up the possibility of participating in language courses abroad will be a chance for the teachers to develop their language skills. In addition, it will contribute in interaction with external schools as well as other educational facilities. Thus, the students will have the possibility of taking part in student exchange programs. It will be the great opportunity to know the language and the culture of European countries. The project will have a substantial influence on increasing the level of teaching. What is more, it will help to create the school image as a facility supporting students and teachers in various aspects of education. The success of the Erasmus+ project can encourage the teachers to participate in other international projects. The quality of the school work will be increased by the experience the creative methods and didactic actions. The project seems to give the huge opportunity to students. It can help them to make a good decision about their future. Their experience in international cooperation can help them to find a good job. Collaboration with the local institutions can promote and popularize the European culture, history and traditions. All of these actions are intended to create the attitude of openness and tolerance within local community.
