Szakmai gyakorlat teljesítése a Höhere Technische Bundes Lehr- und Versuchsanstalt Bregenz iskolában.
Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The cooperation between the Zipernowsky Károly Secondary Technical School of Pécs and the Höhere Technische Bundes Lehrund Versuchsanstalt of Bregenz started 22 years ago. The technical profile of the two schools is very similar: both teach mechanics, electronics and related subjects. During the two decades we have had several student meetings, sporting events and professional conferences. After the school leaving exam, before starting their technical studies our students have to take part in a vocational training. In the frames of the cooperation between the two institutions our best students can accomplish this practice at the partner school in Bregenz. The program of the vocational training is multidimensional. On the one hand, it offers the participants usable professional knowledge, on the other hand, it requires them to prepare a product which can be tested and used in the educational process. When choosing the students for the program the next factors were taken into consideration: their school results, their attitude to their specialization (interest, respect and honor), their discipline and their foreign language skills. These qualities cannot be measured or described by numbers, so the opinion of the teachers involved had a decisive effect on the choice. This kind of cooperation between the two schools lasted for two years, that allowed 2 or 3 students accomplish their vocational training at the partner school each year. Before leaving, our students took part in extra language and professional courses, and they got familiar with the plans of the product to be manufactured. We also discussed the local traditions, the details of the trip, the medical care they can get there, and, of course, the possible free time activities. The greatest advantage of the practice abroad was what our students experienced. The conditions at the partner school and at the companies are very different from what we have in Hungary. The Bregenz school has a very close and fruitful connection with the neighboring factories. The majority of the workshop equipment comes from these companies. Our students basically had their practical training at the school and at the factories they visited. They adjusted to the new circumstances with a relative ease, because they used similar machines at their home school. The similarity of the machines and the curriculum together resulted in the complexity of education. All this required such a high-level accuracy and responsibility from students which is simply not adaptable in the Hungarian conditions. (Or can be reached only in rare, special cases.) In the practical classes the students could get familiar with the operation mechanism of different machines, their use in practice, their implementation. The operating rules of these mechanisms are also taught at the Hungarian school. The students who took part in the project created demonstrating posters and models about the tools and equipment they used in their vocational training which were exhibited in show-cases in the corridor of the school. As these cases are removable, the can be taken into the classroom. The demonstrated themes: In the field of mechanics: • bearings • gear shoots • pneumatics In the field of electronics / electrotechnics • stepper motors • small interrupters • inductive sensors The spectacular nature and the simplicity of the products bring the curriculum closer to the students. Their work and success inspires the other students to improve their professional knowledge and their language abilities, and it also helps the young to become respected citizens in the country they live in. The extra advantage of the foreign practice was the regular use of a foreign language (English or German). It developed student terminology, as well. Finding their ways in a foreign environment was a real advantage for the participants. But the school also benefited from this program: new professional connections were formed which can be fruitful in the future.
