Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 31 mai 2015 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The destinations of the project are the german town of Plauen (capital of the Vogtland region) and other parts of the Vogtland region where agriculture is of great significance regarding employment. The basic objective of the mobility project is to enable students to get an insight into the local successful family owned agricultural businesses, and become acquainted with the agricultural activities characteristic of the region. In addition, our basic aim is to provide students with the possibility of developing their vocational skills and experience as well as gaining personal experience which can determine their success later in life. They can become more open-minded, more self-confident and more dedicated to their profession. We plan the participation of 8 students, who study agriculture either at secondary level or post-secondary technical level which is available for students who passed the matura exam not only in the compulsory subjects but also in agriculture. The students would take part in a 3-month professional training starting on the 4th of August lasting until the 30th of October, 2014. The students would do their training on family farms which primarily deal with breeding cattle and growing the relating fodder. During the training the students would participate in the daily work of the farms from Monday to Friday. The programme also enables the students to spend their free time usefully including visits to plants and museums of Plauen (Plauen Lace Museum, Vogtland Museum, Gallery). During the time of the training it is important that the students improve their German language skills as well as their vocabulary. We reckon that the students will also be able to broaden their ecological horizons significantly.By taking part in these programmes, the students can get an insight into the national values and customs of another country. The expected result of the project is that the students should gain professional experience and become acquainted with new technologies in animal breeding and growing plants. We also expect that the students’ professional and individual independence will increase and their personal, social and methodological competence will improve while working. Our aim is that after returning home, the students would be able to recognise differences and relationships between the Hungarian and German methods of animal breeding. They would also be able to share their knowledge with their fellow students in order to expand their professional knowledge too. It is important that the participating students improve their German vocabulary and their professional language speaking skills. Besides gaining professional experience, it is also of great importance that our students become acquainted with the German culture, and the daily lives and customs of the local people. Based on our previous experience, it is expected that the training will be to our students’ advantage when entering the labour market. On the local level, we are convinced that the project will motivate students to choose our school by means of providing the possibility of travelling and working abroad. The possibility of participating in the programme will probably inspire students to perfom better in both vocational subjects and discipline generali, especially in foreign language learning. By incorporating the experience of training abroad into the educational programme and practice of our school, we expect that our vocational training will become richer and more effective. On a regional level, by means of promoting a higher educational standard as well as broadening the students’ professional horizons, the project might contribute to a rise in agricultural production standards. On an international level, we expect that the project will help deepen professional friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
