The Comines (France) swimming pool had to be closed because it was too old and could not be renovated.French scholars already go to the nearby Comines-Warneton (Belgium) swimming pool. However, as it is the only swimming pool in the cross-border area, the partners want to extend its infrastructure with,among others, extra pools.To restructure and extend the Comines-Warneton swimming pool, the city of Lille conducted a feasibility and programming study as well as project management studies. Given the cross-border character of the operation, a legal study was also conducted (legal structure, health and safety standards, status of staff, etc.).
