The project´s main objective was to boost and preserve the cultural-technical heritage and facilitate its integration into the joint tourist offer in Zagrebska County and the Spodnjesavska region. More specifically, this means a reconstruction of the Rude Mine (CRO) and a the mining technical heritage of Senovo, as well as joint cross-border promotion and cooperation in presenting mining-related geological and technical features of both areas. Achievements: Within this project, 5 locomotive engines and 10 rail wagons were reconstructed; in addition, a 250 m sightseeing mine shaft was open to public visits at Rude, Croatia. Similarly, a technical study for the mining and geological route was carried out; a geological collection in Senovo was complemented and a mineral rock collection in Rude was established; a brochure on technical heritage and a leaflet were printed. Specialised training courses for local tourist guides were given as part of the tourist offer.
