This project is a nature camp for youth held in Inari, Northern Finland. It is a bilateral youth exchange involving organisations from two Russian regions and Finland. Its focus is on strengthening youth cooperation in the Barents region through networking, and on creating long-term partnerships between environmental youth NGOs.The project also helps to build awareness about environmental problems and cultural diversity among participants and in the local community. The camp will be eight days long and have 24 participants, of which 6 will be camp leaders. The main themes of the camp are 1) youth participation in solving environmental problems, and 2) sustainable nature tourism in the Barents region. The camp programme includes thematic workshops, excursions, outdoor activities, a public seminar and cultural evenings.
