Youth Exchange: "Sustainable mind for a green world". 8th - 15th August, 2016. Puente Genil, SpainWhat?“Sustainable mind for a green world” is a youth exchange about environmental awareness, which is focused on the following matters: Climate changing and planetary situation, renewable energy, recycling and healthy lifestyle in harmony with the environment.The main objectives of this project are:- Raising awareness of environmental health through the practice and experience.- Promoting the youth consciousness of their identity as European citizens by means of a collaborative, constructive, cooperative and communicative work.- Increasing the knowledge related to environmental preservation through communication and understanding between youth from different origins.- Contributing to the adoption of healthy habits which benefit both the young people and the environment.Overall, this project is aimed to raise awareness of the importance of the environmental preservation and a sustainable lifestyle in balance with ecosystem.How?The methodology will be based on: learning among peers, constructive debates, role playing, presentations, active participation, learning through experiences, cooperation and group dynamics, artistic creations, recycling, theatre forum, etc…Where?In Puente Genil, a town from Cordoba (Spain).The accommodation will take place at the MUNICIPAL RESIDENCE.Furthermore, the building has a garden and is located in the center of the city.When?This project will take place from 8 to 15 august 2016.Who?This project is aimed to young people between 18 and 30 years old. The number of participants per country is 7 at the most (6 participants + 1 leader). The total number of countries will be 4, included Spain.Results.In general, the results we expect the implementation of this project are related to the acquisition by the participants of skills and competences within the non-formal and informal learning with a European dimension, improving language and communication skills , improve the entrepreneurship. It will contribute to their personal development and active citizenship.Impact.Furthermore, the impact we would like to have this project, firstly, is directly linked to the participants, who will try to improve the entrepreneurship, more European awareness will be created by opening their minds in relation to other cultures and young people to continue with interest to participate in activities at European level.
