Sustainable Further Training and Competence Strategies for the Local Social Economy

Further Training in the subject of Local Social Economy is only existing in nucleus; the quality here is not secured. Objective of the project is therefore to transmit a curriculum (CEST)which was successfully carried out to multipliers who shall use it individually, assess the implementation and monitor it. National relay stations in Germany, Italy, Poland and the United Kingdom transmit the curriculum via multipliers and secure the outcomes. The training of multipliers is particularly of benefit for disadvantaged poeple who look for socially useful work in social organisations / enterprises. Within the project's term, theories, methods and instruments will be transmitted to multipliers in the relevant countries to transfer them and to adapt them to the cultural needs´in the regions. The conditions of successful transfer will be identified, too. The partners' organisations are experts of further training in the area of social enterprises and local economy and are already member of a network. Contents of the training process are macro and microeconomic subjects of the Local Social Economy. The result will be a handbook, a website and an international conference which can be participated by other potential users. This concept overcomes the fragmentation of training in this field and will be combined with innovative sustainable training infrastructure for the local social economy. Finally, the end users receive an intermediary training structure which allow successful enterprising in the Social Economy and thus an improved inclusion in social and economic terms. Intended is an optimization of the multipliers' work and the improvement of living and working conditions of groups who were excluded so from social and economic processes in society so far. The identification of transfer conditions and the tailor-made adaptation of the curriculum in the mentioned countries supports the improved dissemination of good practice in this particular sector.
