The project partners established the Renewable energy educational centre in Gizycko and the Energy efficiency laboratory in Alytus and provided them with modern energy metering equipment and devices, as well as installed solar heaters for practical application, demonstration and education. Also, the energy efficiency audit was carried out in several public buildings of Alytus and one energy-saving heating system was installed in 1 building. Possibilities and options were investigated of growing bio-fuel in Gizycko School of agrobusiness and environment. A number of training programmes were conducted as well.
