Date du début: 31 déc. 2008, Date de fin: 30 déc. 2012 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Two technical schools are partners in this project. They are situated in maritime areas with polluting, old industries. The area is thus subject to important energetic and environmental challenges. As a result, awareness-raising and training of students, future technicians and citizens of the Westhoek and Flandre maritime are key in this project. Achievements: Students from both schools succeeded in assembling both the photovoltaic systems and the wind mills and making them operational. In addition, the students and teachers regularly crossed the border to help each other build a passive house on the playground in Oostende and of a Mediterranean interior garden with autonomous lighting and water garden at the Dunkerque school. All achievements were presented to the general public at the open house days. For these days, in addition to the own visual aidsto present the achievements, demo equipment was used, made available by the EOS, the autonomous municipal company for energy savings of the city of Oostende.
