All of the activities were led primarily by the young people with support from the 2 EVS volunteers and project staff. Impact: The EVS placement had a positive impact on the 2 EVS volunteers, disadvantaged young people in Bournemouth and the wider Bournemouth community. The 2 EVS volunteers learned new skills, developed existing ones and had an opportunity to design and lead their own sessions/projects with staff support. During and after their placement, the volunteers learned and shared knowledge about cultural differences, youth work, policies and good practice.
