PROJET
TERMINÉ
In relation to the context and objectives, this project mobility of teachers for training is titled "Overcoming invisible borders: social cohesion and excellence" that aims to revitalize these two aspects in a public school located in a town of 30103 inhabitants (official data) with over 12,000 citizens who do not have Spanish nationality (also among those who do have the volume of immigrant children is very high). It is an area of high immigration reception, economically depressed and educational situation is a challenge. This project aims to provide training courses structured for a short or medium-term time for some teachers in different educational areas, especially in non-academic periods - to avoid any possible reduction in the attention of students. Among the objectives are: linguistic competence, methodological innovation, European dimension, the challenge of the fight against school failure. In relation to the number and profile of participants it should be noted that, after the public announcement, there is a maximum of 12 activities structured training (courses) for the 5 teachers directly involved in the project and who have formally applied for them. They are teachers with a desire for innovation, internationalization and European professional improvement, which focus their interests in four areas: a European dimension, linguistic improvement, project management and methodological innovation.Teachers have proposed courses considered appropriate for this project under the "School Development Plan" (SDP). At this time - and always conditioned by unforeseen eventualities - teachers interested directly account for 10 % of the team. They are teachers of Language, Philosophy and Ethics, Social Sciences, Technology, and from the Area of expression, etc.Description of activities: as explained before, the needs and the current situation of the Institute need to promote teacher training, as well as an immediate priority: the fight against school failure and for academic motivation and social cohesion.Methodology: The courses focus on linguistic and methodological skills as well as organizational. This is outlined in the Catalogue of activities of “School Education Gateway”.Results and expected impact: this proposal for one year (2016-17) aims to create a training dynamics that can spread after the courses and to promote European training, English / French language and for the sharing of best practices among all the educational community.Possible long-term benefits: there is no doubt that the specific teacher training in the 4 areas mentioned above will have a positive effect on the entire educational community, especially through teaching departments. For the dissemination of the results we count with ordinary means (teaching staff meetings, educational projects areas, etc.) and the use of shared educational digital networks and television Institute. It would be evaluated in September 2016 (after the summer period) and also in June 2017.In the medium and long term we hope that we would start – meanwhile we continue with our current KA2 on "Experience Art - Increase Motivation" – some new European projects related to the SDP of the High School.
