Stworzenie kursów z elementami grywalizacji do nauki zjawisk akustycznych dla inżynierów (Acoustics Course for Engineers)
Date du début: 1 nov. 2016, Date de fin: 31 oct. 2018 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The aim of the project is to develop acoustics course for engineers with elements of gamification that enable specialist from rail, machinery and automotive industry to build improvement in the fields of vibroacoustics, through essential knowledge base and vocational competence across partner countries. These courses will provide a source of expertise on acoustic issues in terms of specific needs imposed by a labour market. The main purpose of the courses is to increase specialists’ awareness about the role vibroacoustic plays in the rail, machinery and automotive industry. A tool to convey acoustic knowledge will be course with elements of gamification. Gamification is the application of game-design elements and game principles in non-game contexts. Gamification commonly employs game design elements which are used in so called non-game contexts in attempts to improve user engagement, flow, learning, employee ease of use and usefulness of systems. Its form will allow to explain problems and issues connected with vibroacoustics in a broader aspect and with the higher efficiency. The project involves 5 organizations from 4 countries (with associated partners) - 2 enterprises (KFB Poland, Jazzy Innovations) and 3 universities (Ruhr University in Bochum, Catholic University of Leuven, Slovak University of Technology). Partners will be supported by associated partners from the world of industry, representing the audience. This is extremely important for the project because it will allow the exchange of knowledge and experience between higher education institutions, and entrepreneurs. The project is coordinated by KFB, but the responsibility for its implementation depend on all partners involved. Major recipients of acoustic courses are: specialists of various specialisations (mechanical, process, rail and automotive engineering) who use acoustic expertise in their daily work and whose expertise they do not acquire in a manner satisfactory during their education. The results and the materials of the project are the common heritage of the entire partnership. The final result of the project will be an Internet application consists of two modules (ACE Module1: Vibroacoustic Issues, ACE Module 2: Simulator for Engineers).Materials for self-education will be placed on the Acoustic Courseware Platform developed by KFB Polska and on Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) Platforms, such as OpenEdX, OpenEducationEuropa.
