Studienbesuch und Job Shadowing im Bereich der außerfamiliären Jugendbetreuung
Date du début: 1 mars 2016, Date de fin: 30 sept. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Research and practice point out, that young people, who are living in out-of-home care have more difficulties to achieve social and vocational integration and have an autonomous life. This is why continuous development and quality improvement in the care of young people is essential as well as a comprehensive and multiprofessional approach. It is also important to facilitate young people access to learning possibilities, among them non formal and informal learning possibilities. The project consists of a 5 day study visit, job shadowing and exchange of youth workers from the organisation Plataforma Educativa and Für Soziales in the facilities of Bundesverband Therapeutische Gemeinschaften in Austria and includes an exchange with the regional representative of the ERASMUS+. Youth in action programme. From each organisation 5 professionals participate in the youth worker exchange. Through the exchange of information, experience and best practices, the youth workers and organisations acquire new knowledge and resources for improving services for the young people in care. They also know objectives and non-formal and informal learning possibilities of the ERASMUS+ programme and how young people in care can have access to these possibilities. They disseminate the project results to other organisations and motivate young people to use the possibilities that are open to them.Development and quality improvement of care in the services and daily work of individual youth workers as well as a broader access for young people in out-of-home care to offers and possibilities of non-formal and informal learning in the ERASMUS+ programme, improves their opportunities of developing well and achieving social and vocational integration and thus contribute to achieving the long term objective to guarantee equal access and opportunities to young people, who have been living in out-of-home care.
