PROJET
TERMINÉ
The main project objective is to strengthen institutional potential of cooperation between rescue services from Rzeszów and Uzhgorod through improvement of rescue-extinguishing techniques together with exchange of information and experience. The partners want to increase efficiency of the fire service in Podkarpacki Region and Zakarpattia to counteract common threats to the environment posed by floods, fires, road accidents and road collisions.The project shall result in acquiring new skills by firefighters and in establishing new institutional capacity to implement joint projects in the future. The project activities include first aid training courses, trainings on proper safe action in case of flooding, liquidation of flood damages, trainings to improve extinguishing techniques inside the buildings and trainings on road accidents and collisions rescue actions. In addition the project will bring the partners possibility to purchase new equipment to increase efficiency of the rescue actions. Study visits in Poland and Ukraine are also planned to assess project outcomes and to schedule further cooperation proposals.
