Date du début: 1 juin 2014, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Project Title: Strengthening Knowmads' international learning partnerships and further professionalise staff in management and teaching capacities. Knowmads Business School, in Amsterdam, is an innovative adult education organisation geared to themes of social entrepreneurship, sustainability, personal development and authentic leadership. After four years of pioneer work, Knowmads is currently taking major steps towards professionalising the management of the school in order to further grow in student numbers which will in turn allow for a bigger impact on the educational landscape in Europe. To do so, Knowmads Business School now needs to (I) further develop management competences, (II) internationalise in terms of public outreach and exchange with network partners and (III) build staff teaching capacities in areas specific to the program we offer. The main activities that we plan to organise and fulfill are closely related to our outlined needs as an organisation. "Team Strategy" training at The Academy for Visionautics (Germany, IPTL member) "The Heart and Craft of the Storyteller" training at The International School of Storytelling (Emerson College, UK) IPTL's "Hosting Transformation" Conference (Croatia) "Multisensual Facilitation" at the Academy for Visionautics (Germany, IPTL member) Job Shadowing at The European Academy of Healing Arts (Germany) "Hands-On Wilderness Living" at Paradiso Ritrovato ReWild (Italy) As mentioned in this application, the methodology used will be thorough, varied and always aligned with our values of innovation, openness, transparency, equality, professionalism and diversity. We predict significant results on a local, regional, national, European-wide and eventually world-wide scale, including but not limited to increased professional competences in our staff members, significant added value to our organisation, and thereby an improvement to the IPTL network and educational landscape in Europe and beyond. The long term benefits of this project will include more adult learning possibilities in Europe for innovative trainings, therefore a greater number of skilled and talented adults in the European work force.
