"Stone Age in Us" inspires reflection of young people (from Lithuania, Estonia, Macedonia, Portugal and Armenia) what influence from the past (of parents, of culture, of history) do they feel in their daily life and what aspects they want to give or to stop thinking about future generations. Participants will live next to XIXth centuries empty country-seat (which is in cultural heritage register, but is ruining) and with their expressions of creativity (arts, music, performances, installations ancient workshops, movies...) will try to resurrect it to new alive life. It should be mentioned that participants will have to put their energy in all 3 stages of the project (at preparation phase in home country- to work on personal goals; to reflect on family Geno-gram; visit some places, where ancient crafts still are alive, at Folow up phase- prepare exhibition of project's results; to introduce at least one workshop of old crafts). Besides, in exchange phase participants will be active not just with theirs feelings and creativity, but also their mind and body will be actively involved into learning process. They will experience their roles and group processes in self organized one day hike in the nature , which will be reflected enough next day. Also they will take action to contribute with their hand work at two mounds (Karmazinų and Naujosios Rėvos piliakalniai), where they will cut bushes, paint wooden signs, stairs. The culmination of exchange phase is an event (with old crafts) which will be organized by participants for Sudervės community people. It should be mentioned that at least 2 mental disable youngsters will participate in Youth exchange and we think they will teach a lot (especially simplicity and joy) other group members.The main aspects which will stimulate participants learning will be:-Activities in all 3 phases (preparation, exchange and evaluation) will be oganised according ideas/proposals of young people -We put big attention to personal work with diaries (reflection, documentation of learning process, putting down some inspirations)-Activities will involve holistic participant: a) bodies (f.e. hike and work at Karmazinų or Naujosios Revos piliakalnis/mound) b) minds (f.e. evenings reflections, dilemmas of how our consummation habits will influence future) c) feelings (f.e. talent festival, creativity tasks, arranging space exchange space in XIXth century empty country-seat)-Participants will have to contribute practically to local community (f.e. to make some decorations from wood or other materials to ethnographic village or to help to clean XIXth centuries country-seat, which is involved into cultural heritage register)=developing positive role of youngsters in society-Common actions and participation with mental disable people- overcoming various prejudice-Stress on creativity- participants will live in very simple accommodation surrounded by nature, where a lot of things they will have to manage themselves. -working in small international groups- the program will be organized, that Kolb's learning circle (experient-reflection-conclusions-new attempt) would happen-Ancient crafts workshops, which will inspire not just creativity, but also awareness of consummation habits Out of this experience participant will gain:-skill of noticing small things and finding joy in them-competence of citizenship (thinking how my action now will influence future of community)-Competence to find out and express individual needs and to set personal goals-Skill to look at the things critically (analyse facts)-competence of self reflection and documentation of learning process-Attitude of being open for unexpected things-skill of consuming less-Knowledge of D.Kolb's experiential learning circle and importance of using it in daily life-attitude of overcoming prejudice (especially with disable people or with not analyzed phenomena)- competence of showing initiative and implementing actions for challenges of society.-skill in working in foreign language in small international groups-Skill of creativity in solving problemsImpact on organization:-Applicant organization will get more confidence to initiate other international activities-Partners will establish platform to exchange EVS volunteers among each other-Partners will involve more body orientated leaning activities into their agendaImpact to other group:-XiXth centuries' ruining empty country-seat house will be resurrected for various art projects - Karmazinų and Naujosios rėvos piliakalniai (mounds) will be more attractive for people to visit them-Some houses at the places will get new wooden decorations- Sudervės village inhabitants will learn some new old crafts
