The project "Stepping Stones" at helping 40 marginalized young people to realise their full potential and strengthen their participation in the local societyThe project is done in cooperation with Better Work Foundation from Egypt and incorporates two main activities as follows:Activity 1: An youth exchange bring together 40 young people with fewer opportunities from Denmark and egypt and empowering them to be to use their potential to influence a change in someone's else life. The youth exchange will be hosted by the partner in Egypt and will be conducted from 13th to 24th of November 2016. During the exchange participants will introduce each other to various ways of exploring their dreams and possibilities to attain those. Furthermore, the participants will be conducting workshops will local youth and will design and implement small scale projects aiming to tackle challenges of the local youth or problems in the community.The youth exchange will be concluded with a Local Festival aiming to disseminate the exchange results among the local community and other stakeholders.After the exchange, the Danish participants will be conducting a National Campaign in Denmark aiming to disseminate their learning results among other young people with fewer opportunities from Denmark. A number of at least 10 similar organizations have been targeted.Prior to the youth exchange, an Advanced Planning Visit will be hosted by the Egyptian partner.Activity 2: A Study visit hosted by the Danish partner in Copenhagen in order to explore possibilities to ensure the multiplication and sustainability of the project. Meetings with local and national stakeholder will be conducted.The overall results of the project will be disseminated through the Global Spring Festival organized annually by the Ecological Production school in Copenhagen.The project shall strengthen participants self esteem and confidence, make them aware of their potential, and empower them to get social included. Follow-up partnerships are expected to made between partners and stakeholders further targeting young people with fewer opportunities. On long term perspective, a synergistic work between partners and stakeholders in the field of youth shallresult in an enhanced social cohesion in Europe and increased well being of young people with fewer opportunities.
