‘Step up, be the change’ is an EVS project. It is designed and built upon the idea of creating a project initiated from youth who are facing employability challenge in their lives. This project is designed to give opportunity to a total of 5 young people, all of them with fewer opportunities, to learn from each other through Erasmus+ mobility.Activity 1 (APV) Venue: Sofia, Bulgaria. During the EVS project the volunteers will gain skills, competences and knowledge regarding the current needs on the European labour market and how they can implement them in their home countries in order to create fulfillment in their life after the EVS placement. Objectives:• empower young people, including those with fewer opportunities, to take full accountability of their own actions, learning and development • encourage the sense of initiative in youth and ignite the spark of entrepreneurship and creativity so that they develop skills and achieve objectives • turn ideas into actions that would lead to a better self-expression, inclusion and awareness of what needs to be done in the immediate surroundings and contribute to the better future of communities This EVS project promotes ‘learning by doing’ methodology when the volunteers become the creators of their own learning and success. Expected results:• self-confidence• leadership skills• experience in youth work• knowledge in running an NGO
