Project 1. One of MH´s French teachers plans to take a French course AGIR POUR MOTIVER in Montpellier, August 4.-15. 2014. See attached course schedule, document no. 2. Teachers from many European countries attend and will discuss and compare different teaching methods and curriculum in each country. Because of the new curriculum in upper secondary schools in Iceland it is important to reorganize all courses in the third language programs in MH. It will be very valuable for the language department to obtain new ideas from the course AGIR POUR MOTIVER . The Association of French Teachers in Iceland recomend that the applicant attends the course. Project 2. Two librarians from MH apply for a grant to visit Pauli Gymnasium in Malmö for job shadowing during one week in June 2015. The school library/the Mediacenter in Pauli gymnasium was awarded as the best school library in Sweden in 2011. The librarians will familiarize themselves with innovations in the operation of the library and the collections of the media center, information literacy and ICT education and prevention of plagiarism. Also on the agenda will be measures to improve services to students with special needs or require special assistance because of disabilities, language difficulties or for other reasons in order to decrease dropout from school . The librarians are participants in a collaborative program organized by the Association of Librarians in Secondary Schools which involves partnerships with upper secondary schools in Sweden and Copenhagen. The applicants considers it important that both librarians in MH are involved in the project to facilitate the processing of information gathered during the study visit and cooperation with the restructuring of the work when returning home
