The Jadwiga Dziubinska Group of Schools Agricultural Education Centre in Stary Brzesc is a school of a long tradition. The school educates in the following specializations: agriculture, veterinary, agribusiness, mechanization of agriculture and the mechanic - operator of vehicles and agricultural machines. Innovative activities, as well as highly qualified personnel, constantly improving their skills are unquestionably the advantages of our school which educates combining tradition with modernity. The need for development and strive to make vocational training more interesting created the idea of the project "Foreign internships a way to raise the quality and attractiveness of practical training".Among many objectives of the project we should distinguish:practical application of the knowledge acquired in school,learning methods, forms and organization of work in other countries,learning and practical use of veterinary techniques,learning new crops technologies, unusual or rare in Poland,practical knowledge of modern agricultural equipment,knowledge of modern information technologies used in agriculture,development of language skills,opening into the languages of other nations,learning about cultures, customs and traditions of other countries.use of modern digital technologies.The main activities of the project are vocational traineeships in the amount of 70 hours in partnership agricultural school, the Instituto de Enseñanza Secundaria Virgen de la Cabeza in Spain and the participation of teachers in actions "job shadowing" in the same school.The participants of the project will be 16 students from farm families who have strictly defined needs of training, striving for self-realization by enhancing their knowledge and skills which will allow them a better start in life. Participants in the project are also open to challenge teachers, focused on continuous self-education. To meet the needs of the project participants, our actions will focus around the organization of apprenticeships and the "job shadowing", so we will deal with the recruitment, the preparatory visit, preparation of the participants and finally permanent contacts with students and teachers after the start of the project and ultimately the evaluation.We are going to share acquired knowledge, skills and produced teaching materials with all concerned and the project results will be made available on the school learning platform Moodle.Certainly, the project will increase the knowledge and experience of participants, improve the efficiency of communication in foreign languages, broaden horizons and open to the culture of other nations. In the long term the school will gain in prestige, raise the level of quality of education, and thus make the educational offer more attractive.
