In the present economic climate young people have many opportunities to gain good employment in Europe and across the world. Our college's aim is to help our students develop their capabilities as European citizens. They are encouraged to expand their horizons to include the full breadth of European cultural heritage. Through learning foreign languages at college, they are able to benefit from training in companies abroad, like for example in Germany.Groups of 24 students from the Maria Sklodowska-Curie Vocational College in Plock are scheduled to take part in 3 trips planned for this project. The dates set are: 15/10/2016 - 29/10/2016, 01/04/2017 - 15/04/2017, 23/09/2017 - 07/10/2017 and each group will be supervised by two teachers.Second and third grade students of Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering , Mechanical Engineering and IT & Telecoms Engineering have been designated for this project, the purpose of which is to apply the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of our students in a real working environment .Working in foreign companies is a very useful way of improving our students' vocational education, self-confidence and their chances of gaining good employment. They will benefit from learning the interpersonal skills needed for working with colleagues and managers; the apprenticeship in Germany also provides the opportunity to improve their language skills and discover German culture. The students of Mechanical and Electromechanical Engineering are scheduled to work in the VW-Service-Betrieb in Schkeuditz.
