Stay Hungry, Stay Healthy
Date du début: 18 mai 2016, Date de fin: 17 févr. 2017 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The youth exchange "Stay Hungry, Stay Healthy" that will take place in Laconi, a village in the centre of Sardinia, is promoted by the youth group "Giovani Iddocca" with the organization "IsLand 3.0" and it will get involved 30 participants from 5 different European countries.Nowadays the debates and contradictions about the theme of the food safety are becoming more frequent. While in the world there are people who are still starving, on the other side there are people who get sick from an improper and/or excessive nutrition. A large part of this target is constituted by the youngsters: the new generations are, in fact, the biggest consumers of the so-called "junk food" and don't understand the health also pass through our stomach. One of the purposes of this exchange is to educate the youngsters to "eat right".The final objective that is the creation of a "meal" composed by multiple multicultural (but above all healthy) dishes, will be reached through different phases:-In the first phase, the objective is testing the knowledge of the participants about the nutrition of their own country. This objective will be pursued through two workshop (a theoretical and a practical ones) that will push the participants to get involved right away.-In the second phase of the exchange, the objective is to make the participants more aware about the importance of the food for our health. This objective will be pursued through a theoretical/lesson workshop (always using the non-formal educational method) and a practical one. The workshop about the Erasmus + Program and the basis of European Planning is part of this phase; this workshop was conceived in order to reach another one of the fundamental aims: stimulate the active participation and citizenship of the youngsters.-The third and last phase, will be the one where will be "created" by the different groups the final "compostition". The "healthy" stroll, the Open Space and the Community Work, are part of this phase; these activities are very important: 1) the healthy stroll, activity conceived in order to reach the last one of the fundamental objectives of the exchange that is to bring the youngsters in contact with nature; 2) the Open Space, where the participants can make avaiable for the others some of their abilities and/or knowledge; 3) the Community Work, true and actual experience of integration and collaboration with the local population. At the end of the exchange, the youngsters will had the opportunity of improving their own human skills and deepen their knowledge about the food safety. They will also developed social competences such as collaboration, team spirit, integration, etc. We will hope that this experience will push them to spread what they learned and lived, once returned in their own country.
