context / history project> The youth exchange entitled "Starting with the basics" will be held in Messini Kalamata, in November of 2016. This is an exchange for inexperienced youngsters in European projects in order to properly establish the bases and values that each new participant must know during his/her first participation in such programs.project objectives> Proper promotion of objectives for the new programmatic and enhance non-formal learning and education, lifelong education and informal teaching. Furthermore, it emphasizes the active participation of young people.number and profile of participants> 38 participants in total. Participants will be from Italy, Greece, Slovakia, Sweden, Spain, Croatia. Each team will consist of 6 participants of 18-24 years (3 boys and 3 girls) of which one will be the leader without age limit. In Greek team, there will be an additional 2 persons who will be the trainers of the action. Participants except the leaders, must have basic knowledge of English and a zero experience in participation in youth programs.description of activities> activities will have the following format outdoor and indoor activities, brainstorming activities, learning by doing, working in groups, simulation activities, role playing, flashmob for raising the awareness of European Projects.methodology used for the project> 'based on the values of non-formal learning and education, lifelong education and informal teaching, the methodology used during the duration of the exchange, will promote the eight main informal learning skills-key competences which will be validated through th youthpass certificate that will be given to participants on the last day of the program.brief description of the expected results and impact and possible long-term benefits> Participants will acquire the strong foundation they need for their participation in European projects and as a result of the program, after the completion of the exchange will create a guide entitled "starting with the basics - booklet ".
