Our school aims at opening opportunities across Europe and wants to enable students to travel. This project will develop linguistic and professional skills to encourage mobility.Moreover our different partners (United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Switzerland and Luxemburg) will benefit from qualified trainee workers able to satisfy and deal with European customers.The students taking part in the project are selected according to a bilingual CV and a covering letter. An interview with vocational teacher will assess their ability to fit in a professional team. The final decision will be then taken with the teaching staff.Before departure, we consider the professional requirements of a the company and the linguistic level of the student. Meanwhile the teacher introduces the country to the student with various cultural documents.During the work placement the students will be tutored by a member of staff who will assess the training period, being also in contact with the teacher in charge of the placement. Visits are planned as well and possibility to carry out interviews with Skype.The Europro certificate, Europass mobility the different assessment documents (National Vocational Qualification), the training period report and an oral presentation are practical tools which assess the influence of the placement on the development of skills.Further assessment is also possible thanks to previous students who benefited from this experience and probably used it for their professional evolution.An international dimension is definitely required for our school and this dimension will influence the selective criteria for our different courses. This selective approach would guarantee a fair reputation to our school and its different diplomas, from the first classes to the final level of vocational studies in Catering and Hospitality.
