With this project lead by Municipality of Maribor, consortium of 4 kindergartens from Maribor, would like to enable further training for professionals in nurseries and related organisations abroad. The aim is practical training that will take place as part of the work process in kindergartens abroad. The emphasis will be on:- methods of working with children (innovative approaches),- activities in the nursery (regular, enriched and additional activities),- cooperation with parents,- organisation of work in the nursery (group spaces, cooperation with teacher, diet, etc.),- further education for employees.Employees will learn about integration of children from different cultural backgrounds, language learning and other innovative working practices in kindergartens.The mobility aims to directly contribute to improvement of employe’s skills and to the transfer of good practices and experiences in the home nursery.In addition to their professional competences the participants will also upgraded their personal qualities and soft skills such as: flexibility, tolerance, ability to communicate in a foreign language, openness, facing their own obstacles, restrictions or fears, willingness to solve problems and work in a new working environment.Municipality of Maribor as the founder of kindergartens and coordinator of the consortium wants to contribute to:- further professional development of employees (by upgrading the skills, competencies and personal qualities),- transfer of good practices from abroad to home kindergartens,- establishment of contacts and cooperation in the international environment,- development of innovative methods of work,- better organisation,- better respond to the changes that are happening in Europe,- readiness for functioning in a multicultural environment.With this project 8 employees from four kindergartens will get the opportunity for practical professional training in kindergartens abroad in the form of:- assistance teachers working with children in groups and- job shadowing of work process in kindergartens abroad.The project will run for 2 years from 1.6.2016 to 31.5.2018. The planned duration of the mobility is 21 days, the hosting country are: Germany, Finland and Malta.The main activities in the project:-selection of employees for participation in the project,-informing employees about the program in hosting organisation,-agreement about content of mobility with hosting partners,-preparation before mobility,-help for organising travel to hosting country,-organising of accommodation,-monitoring of individual mobilities and the project,-offering support to participants throughout the program,-preparation of final reports, Europass Mobility certificate, final evaluation and dissemination of results.
