Stärkung beruflicher, sprachlicher und interkultureller Kompetenzen durch Mobilität in Europa
Date du début: 1 juin 2015, Date de fin: 31 mai 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The Hans-Böckler-Berufskolleg provides a wide range of vocational education and, moreover, it has the responsibility to encourage openness, tolerance and interest in cultural diversity. This project prepares students for the European labor market. First of all, about 80 students studying business and commerce, media, natural or educational sciences gain work experiences in countries such as Poland, Great Britain, Spain, Malta, Norway or Turkey. The students are integrated into international teams to work together in projects and on assignments in order to foster technical and linguistic, but also social and cultural skills. The students encounter work techniques and job routines in other European countries. They are getting an insight into European companies and their networks, so that they will have a competitive advantage on the international job market. In addition, six teachers receive educational as well as language training in the UK to establish bilingualism in school life. In addition, it will help the teachers to obtain new ideas for their own teaching and to further the school’s projects at European level. Benefits result from teacher training but also through networking in Europe. Personal contacts are the foundation of a future European cooperation.
