The project realized under the European voluntary service will be a response to the needs of greater openness and accessibility on the labour market. It is aimed at young people interested in cultural management and art – particularly in photography. Together with a Czech partner organization - Be International – which is run by active adolescents, we will work out the best methods of education and sharing of experience through practice. The main goal of our project is to provide employment opportunities for young people through the exchange of experiences between countries with similar standards, as well as to gain practical knowledge and improve key skills and professional competences. We want to improve the quality of young people’s work through international cooperation tailored to the needs and personal interests of the volunteers. We will support the process of lifelong learning using informal means. To this end, we will prepare a one-year cooperation program precisely personalised to the needs of both the volunteer and the resident. We will also make the headquarters of our organization available, which is located in Warsaw. We will provide our expertise in the fields of: running an NGO, implementing new artistic projects, international collaboration and production of events, conducting consultations, learning to discuss specific tasks and to motivate to work individually. The volunteer for the duration of the project will be managed by a mentor and his deputy, who will be a support for him. They will outline the appropriate path of development, but the volunteer himself will elect which of them he wants to follow.The volunteer will be gaining practical knowledge by working in a Polish NGO. He will be present during the conceptual work and implementation of projects as part of the association’s activities (including a mentoring program , "Fotoprezentacje", exhibitions , meetings , discussions ), as well as perform a number of tasks related to assisting the association projects. His individual work and developing the potentials are associated with the development of a web-based platform with a working title "Young Photographers index", having an international reach and presenting portfolios of young and talented photographers from Europe. Gained experience and the result in the form of a platform will be presented by the volunteer on his return to the Czech Republic.The project realized under the European voluntary service will be the beginning of a close Polish-Czech cooperation. We want to pursue educational projects and exchange experience with organizations of other profiles, but the same purposes. We believe that the role of the volunteer in our project is not only to perform specific work, but also to inspire us to action, and to expand the range of planned projects on a European scale .
