Sprachkompetenz & Berufserfahrung
Date du début: 27 juil. 2014, Date de fin: 26 juil. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

The Nürnberger Fremdsprachenschule is a state-approved vocational college which trains students for jobs for which a thorough knowledge of foreign languages is needed. Our students undergo two to three years of intensive training to become multilingual administrative assistants proficient in two or three foreign languages and qualified to work in international companies and government agencies. Our main points of focus are commercial correspondence, translation, interpreting, oral skills and economics and business. In addition to learning general and business language skills, the students are given an understanding of relevant business topics such as methods of payment, import and export regulations, customs clearance, contract law, marketing and ICT. The goal of the eight-week work-placement is to enable committed students to gain their first work experience in an international context, either during their training course or immediately after qualifying. This experience will come from both formal and informal learning; the students will not only have the opportunity to use and expand their language and business skills in a working environment but will also be able to improve their intercultural and social competence and continue their independent learning, all of which will in turn have a positive effect on their personal development as a whole. The internship can be in companies operating in various types of business ranging from import and export to marketing, depending on the abilities and interests of the individual student. The Nürnberger Fremdsprachenschule prepares the students in advance to meet the demands of the internship. The partner organisation Alfmed in Perpignan is responsible for the placement of the students. Alfmed also provides 24/7 support, provides help with accommodation and ensures that the students are able to experience French culture to the full. This partner’s experience and service package can serve as a benchmark for high quality standards and quality assurance. Trainee/internship contracts are negotiated with the students. The Europass Mobility, the ECVET and other national and European certification are used to increase the transparency on the international employment market. The high esteem which students gain from this wide range of opportunities will enable them to set themselves apart from other applicants on the job market; they become multipliers and strengthen the image of the multilingual administrative assistant training, which in turn has a positive effect on the training colleges themselves.
