Youth exchange entitled "Sport unifies" will be implemented by Association „Arete-Sport” - Bulgaria in partnership with Association “Calafat – Duiven Association” – Romania. The exchange will take place in the town of Plovdiv for a period of 14 days and will include 58 young people between 13 and 30 years with prominent civic and social position and interests in sports. In accordance with the growing trend towards accelerating social inequality, leading to isolation, conflicts between individuals and discrimination not only at national but also at an European level project "Sport unifies” aims to: Approve sport as a means of promoting personal development and social integration of young people from different backgrounds, ethnicity and social status. Through the realization of various activities such as discussions, debates, role-playing games, informational campaigns and outdoor events, the young participants will help to create a long-lasting interest in the benefits of participation in sport. At the same time, the participants will gain knowledge, skills and competences, necessary for the adoption of various sport techniques and practices for inclusion and personal development of young people at risk and disadvantaged people.
