The provision of quality education in vocational sport training, acquisition of professional competence with the possibility of dual sport and professional career and the successful realization of graduates in the European labor market is a huge challenge. Nowadays sport becomes part of the general culture of individuals and active and healthy lifestyle into a factor of long-life and longevity. This project enabled 40 students from the Sports School”D. Rohov”, Sliven studying "Sport" and profession "assistant coach" to increase their professional knowledge and skills in Poland or in the Czech Republic. Practices and work in a real working environment enabled them to improve their professional skills and to make sport their profession. Participants in both mobilities were trained by highly qualified teachers and coaches in one of the two host partners: ”Christina Воhenek" in Poland and the judo sports club”Banik”, the Czech Republic. Within two weeks during the first term of 2015/2016 those students who had passed through the selection and preliminary training activities learned coaching practices on judo, football and athletics for children up to 10 years and adolescents. They organized and conducted friendly matches and football competitions in judo and athletics, which provided them with the opportunity to receive additional qualification as "organizer of sporting events and activities." In the host countries there were lessons in English for the profession and lessons in Czech or Polish languages. At the end of the mobility Bulgarian participants made exams and received a certificate of acquired language skills. Teachers of special subjects and the coaches in the Czech Republic and Poland shared their experiences with their Bulgarian colleagues. They learned innovative European practices that motivated students to learn and do sports in order to prevent leaving school and reduce youth unemployment. The project provided equal opportunity to students regardless of gender, ethnicity and social status to practice in Poland or in the Czech Republic to upgrade their knowledge and skills and compare them with European ones. Practice introduced Bulgarian participants with the novelties in the world of their sports, with modern equipment for stadiums and sports halls as well as the newest teaching methodologies and systems for working with different ages. Participants were acquainted with the role of training sessions held two times a day and practicing additional sports. By participating in the project participants gained cultural competences, principles of fair play and overcoming aggression in sports fields. Both partner organizations issued certificates to graduates after passing the examination in each module. They received an Europass certificate ensuring a high qualification in two professions and greater employment opportunities for development and implementation on the labour market as assistant coaches or organizers of sports events. We shared the results on www.facebook.com/Sport-as-a-job.
