Sport Partnership Runs In Natural Trails.

Sport is the biggest civil society movement in the European Union and collaborative partnerships and structures based on voluntary activities are a fundamental condition for the provision of sport in the majority of Member States. SPRINT is a 18 month long Erasmus Plus Sport project proposal aimed at promoting a collaborative partnership related to the European Week of Sport 2016 and to the participation in sport and physical activity for all, not only for adults, but especially for youngsters from 18 to 35, to prepare them for a healthy life and create a strong and moral character in them. The partnership is composed by 10 official partners and 2 guests, for a total of 7 countries (IT-GR-CY-HU-PL-RO-CZ) that will start activities on May 2nd 2016 and conclude them on November 1st 2017. During this period the partnership will share knowledge and experiences, compare programs and best practices and develop actions to increase and retain new potential athletes; the specific objective will be to promote the European Week of Sport 2016 and 2017 and the importance of voluntary activities in sport, together with social inclusion, equal opportunities and awareness of the importance of health-enhancing physical activity through increased participation in,and equal access to, sport for all, and the EU policies concerning the European Week of Sport, by these actions:Transnational Awareness Campaign on the European Week of Sport 2016 and 2017 and on the lifelong benefits of athletics and nordic walking;International Conference Launch in PL+21km race;Brainstorming on the local trails identified for the competitions and 10 km nordic walking competitions in HU and in CY;Local Athletics Open Days;Senior and Master Program;Mid-term International conference in GR+10 km run;Train the Trainers Program;Lifelong Athletics and Nordic Walking Open Days;International Final Conference in IT+13 km run;Guidelines of Teaching Models;Cooperation Agreement.
