Project "More than Sport" will take place in Poland between 9 and 17 of August 2014. 45 participants from 5 countries: Poland, Romania, Turkey, Malta and Jordania will consider how to encourage people for practicing sport on the fresh air, how to organize sport events, how to gain money for such events. This projects will help participants and their organizations in creating sport activities. They will knew new marketing ideas and will learn how to use them in creating sport events. As a result of the project they will organize and promote sport event for local society. Project will help participants and their organizations in creating new events and projects, not only about sport. Moreover there will come true more aims, like: personal development of participants(which will help them in the labor market), cultural exchange, which will help to fight with prejudices and stereotypes, health improvement. Participants together will implement such varied actions like: lecture, discussion, presentation, interactive presentation, terrain games, debates, cultural evenings, ice breaking games, drama, city games, orientation run, walk, sightseeing of touristic and cultural places, meeting with local authority, negotiations, workshops and many other tasks. Also the whole project will be planed and implemented by young people. Every participant will be involved in planning, realization and summary of the project. As the main result of the project we expect to increase awareness about sport activities on the fresh air among people and its social and health advantages, also about its financial and marketing aspect. It will also help to increase of our capacity to plan and make activities (especially sport activities). Participant will gain new capacities, knowledge and international contacts for cooperating in the future. Project in a long time perspective will give an opportunity for increasing awareness and positive patterns in the area of sport , healthy lifestyle, ecology, tolerance and any other issues of NGO’s work , especially for local community. Also the project will give a possibility to improve competencies of participants and their communities, to know more about new marketing ideas and techniques, which can heave a positive influence for economy of theirs countries.
