TERMINÉ
This project aims at creating favourable conditions for people to engage in sports and encourages active cooperation in between the sports institutions in districts of Skuodas and Liepaja. Various sport competitions have been organized in scope of the project. Competitions were open to sportsmen from both project regions. The aim of these competitions was to promote healthy lifestyle among all age groups and people of all socio-economic backgrounds. The improvement of the sports infrastructure in the Liepaja and Skuodas districts, purchase of sports equipment are meant to ensure long-term benefits. Benefits of the project include renovated sports complexes in both districts, bilateral contacts and cooperation which can be used by these districts to reach their full potential and have people with different sports interests, different gender and age work together.
