The youth exchange took place in France in Gouville sur Mer (Manche) from 20 to 29 September 2014. It lasted 10 days and gathered 23 young (6 Turks, French 6, 6 Romanians and Italians 5) and 5 leaders . Youth selection was conducted with a variety of audiences (18 to 25) with a very wide range of courses and / or training (job seeker, moderator, student, ....). This diversity was one of the strengths of the group and participated in its good momentum.   The "Sport and Sustainable Development" was organized around the Raid Smugglers, sports event organized by the French Union of Works Lay Physical Education Manche (UFOLEP) September 28, 2014. The project idea was: - Bring together young European citizens interested in environmental, health and sport for all. - Immerse in an environment "sport" for 10 days and discuss with them linking health issues, environment and sport. - Involve them in the Raid Smugglers event as participants or volunteers. The program had the following objectives: - Raise awareness to the theme of sustainable development and develop skills to integrate environmental issues into their daily practices - Understand the various forms and the importance of volunteering in sport - Encourage access to sport for all - Educate the sports / health recommendations - Bring a cultural dimension to the project by allowing young people to express themselves through graffiti During the workshops, the young people reconciled discovery, encounters and exchanges: - On the inflatable arch UFOLEP Channel, achieving a graffiti messages declining in terms of sustainable development, health and enhancement of sport for all - Creation of communication tools for the valuation of the project. - Sports participation and / or volunteer RAID Smugglers - Meeting and discussion with athletes and volunteers RAID - Convenient new sports (Zumba, Tchouk ball, Nordic walking, yachting ...) - Crossing the bay and discovery of Mont Saint Michel. Active methods have been used on evaluation time, intercultural exchange and group dynamics.
