The project ”Sport and Cultural Exchange” is implemented by SEGMENT Association(Romania) in partnership with Young European Leaders Society (Bulgaria) and it represents a continuation of the organizations approaches of involving youngsters in non-formal education activities that promote health-oriented behavior, creativity, willingness to work in a team, distributive attention and at the same time to educate their ambition , courage, will and certain character traits. Through this project we offer to the young people from SEGMENT social networks the chance to interact with other young people from other countries to learn about new cultures and to practice unique non-formal education methods. The main activities for young people designed in this project are: socio-educational animation activities; street animation activities and juggling; urban and cultural incursions activities The main aim of the project is to involve 20 young people from Bulgaria and Romania, aged between 17-25, in educational, sportive and intercultural activities, designed for a period of 8 days (in Romania) The main methods used during the youth exchange are: - Using street animation as a tool to stimulate social integration and solidarity of the group; -Using urban raids for exploring the city's cultural opportunities as a method to empowerment of young people; -Using socio-educational animation as a way to encourage the expression of project participants and maintain solidarity in the working group; The main outcome expected from this projects are: personal development of the young people ; stimulation of intercultural communication, self-expression, self-representation and interrelation; a project magazine, which will be used as a main dissemination intrument The project partners will continue to develop new projects and form a network.
