The name of our project includes the word "green" as the symbol of healthy life on our green planet. Its objective is to raise young people’s ecology consciousness by means of current information about saving energy and the ways of achieving low-energy demand of houses. Within the framework of the European development plan our school has set the goals to be open to new methods, to improve professional and language competences of the employees and to make them more prepared for educational process. To achieve these goals our school would like to send its pedagogical employees abroad to attend the mobilities. Because only a high quality teacher, whose know-how is enriched by current knowledge in their specialization, can provide valuable vocational knowledge and practical skills. The main aim is to develop professional competences of the teachers of vocational subjects and practical training in the area of effective using and sustainability of energy. The project will support the participants to gain the competences and to develop their personal and professional development. This will prevent our teachers from their stagnation. The courses, vocational preparation and practical training dealing with implementation of energy analysis of a public building will take place in the schooling centre in Cottbus, Germany in September 2016 and in Gualdo Cattaneo, Italy in April 2017. There will be 12 teachers of vocational subjects and practical training participating in this mobility. All of them have broad theoretical and practical experience in the field of building industry. The project will prepare the pedagogical employees for the fields of study called Technician of energy installation of the buildings and Mechanic of building installations. Each of them has a responsible and creative approach to the process of education. They are also willing to fulfill the tasks successfully and to share the experience after their return. During the vocational training they will present the using of the measuring devices, explain the work procedure, describe the methods of gaining, elaborating and evaluating of the measurements and they will even realize some measuring methods and testing thermographic measurings and demonstrate the using of a thermo-vision camera. They will manage to deal with the principles of the heat loss measurings of the energy demand and evaluate the attributes of the innovative building materials and modern diagnostic technique. With the help of the proper way of diagnosis of the needs and obstacles they will prepare a plan for removing of the deficiencies of energy installations of the buildings. They will also set the ways of energy saving. The participants will prove the significance of the using of energy-saving appliances in order to decrease energy demand of the buildings. After the return they will include new knowledge into the school educational programmes, prepare new teaching materials and workbook for both professions mentioned and create the presentations for particular fields of study about the process of working with the devices, diagnosis of the buildings and making use of the gained knowledge during the stage of diagnosis of the energy demand of our school buildings. During the studies the teachers will prepare students for energy consulting and services used when obtaining energy appliances for household and small working operation, which is appreciated by all the investors. They will offer the students their own experience which makes the teaching and learning more attractive. The teachers will also share the experience and knowledge with their colleagues. We will inform about the activities of the project during and after the mobility on our website and in regional newspapers. In case of the interest of people and schools we can organize a practical demonstration about the procedure of energy demand diagnosis of the buildings. The additional value of the project is the development of the social competences. The participants will work in the international team of instructors and teachers where they will confirm their socialization abilities, the level of tolerance, understanding, cooperation, help etc. Another important thing is improvement of language competences. The pedagogical employees often have problems with communication in foreign languages, but the opportunity to participate in the mobility abroad gives them a chance to express themselves in foreign language not only in the situations of ordinary life, but also in vocational discussions to gain higher language self-confidence. The participants will be given the Europass Mobility and certificate confirming their knowledge and skills gained during the mobility. The participation of the school in the projects supports the globalization of the school and develops the cooperation with international institutions.
