TThe " Balkan spirit in the kitchen" is a youth exchange project between two Balkan countries Romania and Bulgaria, which will be implemented in the period 01.08.2014-31.03.2015. Exchange activity will take place Tismana Gotj County, Romania.
Purpose: Improve the capacity of young people to participate in sustainable community development .
Specific objectives :
1.Increasing linguistic competences of 18 young people aged 13-30 years in Romania and Bulgaria , rural and urban , by the end of the project;
2.Increasing entrepreneurial skills to 18 young people aged 13 to 30 years in Romania and Bulgaria , rural and urban , traditional cuisine of the Romanians and Bulgarians until the end of the project ;
3.Increasing level of knowledge about the methods and tools of non-formal education in the context of Erasmus + to 18 young people aged between 13-30 years in Romania and Bulgaria , rural and urban areas by the end of the project;
4. Stimulating interaction young people aged between 18 13 to 30 years, Romania and Bulgaria in rural and urban areas by the end of the project;
To achieve the proposed objectives are provided for implementing the following activities :
- Learning English
- Discussions on ways of protection and promotion of cultural heritage : ethno -cultural customs and culinary traditions / Oltenia and Vratsa ,
- Workshop - national citizenship european citizenship complementary / promoting european values ,
- Workshops , Culture Romanian / Bulgarian seen as " ethno - out " cooking ( preparation of traditional Romanian / Bulgarian , spiritual landmarks )
- Debate Session " Methods of protection and promotion of cultural heritage , traditions and customs of ethno-cultural and culinary "
- Stereotypes , prejudices and other phenomena that lead to exclusion and discrimination of young rural
-Non-formal educational activities , based on modern non -formal methods like that: PhotoVoice , living library , shop , café publish, iIntegration games , intercultural games ,dialogue , open space , experiential learning , assessing their own learning.
Methods are based on a participatory approach, young people will have an active role in the project.
Working methods will be the non-formal education: brainstorming, presentations, demonstrations, debates, analyzes, summaries, abstracts, dialogue, interviews, open questions, public café, PhotoVoice, studio, visual methods, games.
To improve the efficiency of learning methods will be chosen taking into account the need to know the needs of the target group, the characteristics of the target group. In addition, this project will contribute to the social and personal development of participants involved in the project.
