Special kids meet special Europe

With international partnerships, we raised the level of special educational work and the level of knowledge in the fields of design, renovation, reconstruction, construction and energy point of view of educational institutions in order to better adapt those children with special needs, since this is a learning environment for these children strong factor for the successful implementation of daily special educational activities. Those activities have a common ultimate purpose of raising the motivation of children with special needs to learn and develop cognitive and social skills. Europe is changing rapidly, at the same time are also changing pedagogical methods and standards for living environment of children with special needs and working environment of employees in such educational institutions. Bioclimatic design has a strong influence on all of these stakeholders is therefore indispensable. Whits this project we want to get to the exchange of knowledge and practice in the fields with other professional members of the project. We gained a wide range of skills that will be a great help in daily work and decision-making regarding the design of which greatly affect the children, staff and the local community. Through the implementation of project activities leaded to the improved quality of work, knowledge of other cultures, languages, development of innovative content on ICT and development pedagogics methods. Each partner head done evaluation of the impact project results in all groups. We attended professional training abroad, which covered the areas of work that we wanted to upgrade. We sent to education abroad 4 people. For two employees we planed to participate in training for special education, work with children with special needs. One is professor of special education and one is special education teacher of defectology for persons with mental, physical and motor development. Two employees attended training sessions with the theme of the design of educational buildings and their adaptation to children with special needs who are graduated in sanitary engineer and responsible to carry out renovations and new construction in our institution. The project was carried out with preparations for the training, the training and activities carried out on completion of training. Before the implementation of participation we provided information on the geographical characteristics, history, architecture and education system in Finland. We renew the expert knowledge of English, which includes the design and pedagogy. We will prepare a presentation of our organization, region, country and the way the design of educational buildings based on actual cases of reconstruction of kindergartens by contemporary guidelines. We provided a 100% participation throughout the training and also actively cooperate and got extra additional information from the pedagogical and technical fields. We visited kindergartens, schools and asked educators and executives about their work methods, work organization and management of reconstruction projects, renovations and new construction facilities tailored to children with special needs. We obtained contact information of the participants. We compared the locale standards and norms for space and equipment, and energy aspects and the situation of kindergartens and schools among the participants of the project training. We exchanged experiences on how to work and use the workspace, and tested the technical disadvantages of positive solutions. We got photo documentation of buildings, premises and equipment. After the training we reported to superiors about the completion of the training and its content. The range of activities included providing information to teaching and professional colleagues in a way : through the mailing lists of e- Chamber , workshops , during the work . We will make changes in the coming periods. Experience that we gained by the implementation of the project will have a very important role not only for our institution but also for the region. Best educational practices from other partners will be transfered in or compared them with ours. Participants in the project have a very important role and knowledge to transfer practices in our work environment and the region. Transmission of information at the local level includes informing employees on information obtained through the project on kindergarten website , brochures, bulletin boards and mailing lists. Dissemination of information at national level took place through working groups of principals, journals and pedagogic publications on the radio and television interviews. After completion of the training we wrote a report and posted on our website accessible to the general publics.
