Development of the internal market within the EU has led to the need for balanced development and integration of the whole European territory. In line with these requirements is based the design of the strategy to promote a harmonious, balanced and sustainable development of trans-boundary region. The factors defining a positive business environment could be identified in new technologies, know-how, and transfer of best practices, encouraging new investment and creating new quality of human resource. The advantages of the application of Community law and the knowledge-based economy are the basis for training courses for the entrepreneurs. The usage of Internet-based resources and new information services create opportunities for enhancing SMEs competitiveness and sustainable development. Achievements: The project promoted harmonious, balanced and sustainable development of trans-boundary region through the defining factors of the positive business environment: new technologies, know-how, and transfer of best practices, encouraging new investment and creating new quality of human resources. In the course of the project were presented the advantages of application of Community law and the knowledge-based economy through training courses for entrepreneurs from Yambol and Luleburgaz. The usage of Internet-based resources and new information services created opportunities for enhancing SME-s competitiveness and sustainable development.The project has been successfully accomplished in March 2012.
