Stredni prumyslova skola Otrokovice is a modern public school in the Zlín Region providing vocational education, as well as regional informational and educational centre, a service provider for schools, educational organizations and general public in the Zlín Region. In close cooperation with the Department of Education, Youth and Sports of the Zlín Region it implements many activities with full-regional impact, has a wide range of experience in European projects. For the general public of the Zlín Region our school runs regional portal of education Zkola.cz. The objective of the project SOFI (So Fired for Education) is institution's involvement in international activities, acquiring new knowledge, skills and competencies in line with the strategic plan school development and cooperation with European providers of courses. To participate there were selected persons who are professionally and linguistically equipped, that can acquired information and contacts efficiently utilize for self-development and development of organizations on a wide scale. The project is a total of 4 motilities (training courses thematically focused on PR and communications, online marketing, management and project management, personal skills, teamwork and time management). Courses will take place from August 2014 to June 2015 in 4 European Union countries (Spain, Great Britain, Greece, and Italy). All motilities are directly linked to the activities of the Secondary School Otrokovice, continuous management activities, and conceptual plans for the upcoming school year 2014/ 2015. Selected topics are related to school needs to communicate with the public more and all stakeholders as well as through ICT tools (websites, social networks), to effectively coordinate project activities of organizations, to use innovative methods and practices in education. Thanks to training courses in the program Erasmus +, participants will improve their language skills, knowledge in special areas, strengthen core competencies (especially communication in foreign languages , learning competencies, social skills, sense of initiative, cultural awareness and expression) .Their communicative skills, flexibility and adaptability to new situations in life, ability to work in a team, to work with information in an international environment will increase. Ultimately, mobility will contribute to the overall support their personal and professional growth and strengthen professionalism. Secondary school Otrokovice gains access to the methods , procedures used in other countries and new ideas to the organization that plays a major role (flagship) in the Zlín Region .The site of the school and regional portals created a separate section devoted to international cooperation, where we will publish attractions and professionally oriented articles related to education in Europe. Through published articles and presentations at events for the management, teachers and officials of the Department of Education will motivate others to be interested in Zlin region, exploring different areas of cultural and educational topics of the European Union , taste inspire abroad, participate in the Erasmus program + . The project will contribute to the promotion of lifelong learning and the development of human resources on a regional scale.
