Socio-Economical Development in rural and peripheral areas with high levels of poverty
(EXTREMS)
This project intends to create in the Azores and Canarias Autonomous Regions a methodology and a specific program to promote within the Rural Peripheral Zones, the resolution of the social problems related to the poverty, unemplyment, excusion, through the implementation of strategies of local development, considering the Local Specific Factor (historical, environmental, industrial…), giving origin to thematic parks that can leed to an improvement of the living conditions in those zones.
