Date du début: 18 janv. 2016, Date de fin: 17 déc. 2016 PROJET  TERMINÉ

Public Organisation "Youth Line" is organising a youth exchange in frames of Erasmus+ Programme “Social Records - Let's Highlight Equality Matters” which will take place in Ventspils, Latvia from 07 until 14 of August 2016. This project will gather 42 young people from 7 countries- Latvia, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Hungary, Turkey and Germany. The project theme is devoted to filming short records by participants on the theme of how they perceive the social exclusion, poverty, homelessness, disability, membership of an ethnic minority, lack of adequate literacy skills, unemployment, family circumstances, addiction problems and similar issues connected to social exclusion, and raising the awareness of general public, government officials and European officials about the existing problem and provoking a solution not only from the officials but from each individual who would see a movie or hear about the problem from a friend. This very project provides youngsters with an opportunity to make their voice heard and to express their view upon fighting against poverty and social exclusion . Here they can be so free to use filming short movies as a tool for active youth participation. The theme of the project grasps the notion of social inclusion- as not just about having access to mainstream services- but it is about PARTICIPATION in the community as active citizens. The YE uses the non-formal education methodology which will be based on open and interactive approaches and directly aiming at creating a safe learning environment for the participants, environment that would stimulate the development and applying of new skills, competencies and attitudes and thus rely to social and personal development. The working methods include practical workshops on the basics of creating short movies, writing a script, filming on location, acting, editing materials etc. Moreover, the working methods include many non-formal learning activities for more in-depth grasping of the problem of social inclusion.Reducing the barriers to inclusion requires integrated effort across government and non-government agencies at all levels, horizontally and vertically, influencing policy and practice through direct links to individual experience. Through partnership working, organizations from all sectors could build the bridges, required to support community participation, active citizenship and build social capital.
